U13 and u15/16 spots still left. Don't delay - sign up before this camp sells out!
Watch this 35 second video that features 4 drills of young hockey players working on their skills in the off-season. Balance, agility and control of the puck/ball on your stick!
Eyes UP
The key here is to learn to do puck-handling with your eyes UP.
Eyes AROUND
As players begin to learn this important skill (eyes up) they are asked to further this point by utilizing eyes AROUND, where the player takes in visual information from almost 360 degrees.
Handle the puck/ball - know what is behind you, what is to your left and right - not just straight ahead.
Great hockey players feel 9 other players around them, they see 9, they count quickly to see advantages. They notice speeds of other players and they put all that information together in a blink of an eye to make a decision.
The more you see, the better your decision!
