The Continental Divide Youth Hockey League works hard to provide a fun, competitive and educational environment for its players, parents and fans.
The purpose of this organization is to operate a youth hockey league following the guidelines, rules and regulations of USA Hockey and the state affiliate, Colorado Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA), and to provide for the development of youth hockey within the state of Colorado.
The CDYHL, in general, consists of member organizations formed as a result of local geographic boundaries. The general intent is to provide an opportunity for youth to play recreational level hockey. CDYHL does not endorse recruitment of players from other CAHA member organizations. In the event that a CDYHL team has the ability to play AA, it is the intent that these teams are a result of “home grown” talent, and not a result of recruitment or promotion from CDYHL member organizations.
