Overview
Opened in 2009, the Covenant Baseball Field is one of the most beautiful baseball facilities in the southeast. The ballpark is located on the south end of campus and just a few steps away from the softball field. The park features spacious dugouts, oversized bullpens, and roomy dimensions (LF/RF - 325’, CF - 400’). In the summer of 2010, permanent bleachers were added behind home plate.
The playing surface is one of the best kept in the region, thanks to the hard work by the entire Covenant baseball program. Opposing players, coaches, and umpires rave about the quality of the well-maintained infield dirt and grass.
The facility played host to the NCCAA Mid-East Regional tournament in 2010 and has also hosted numerous local high school games.
The Scots have a 153-96 record at the field in the 13 seasons of the ballpark’s existence. Covenant went 17-3 at home in 2014 and 16-5 in 2016.
In 2014, the indoor hitting facility at the Highlands Field House was completed. The facility has two hitting areas and is used by both baseball and softball programs.
