Dear Skating Friends,
After 47 years of dedicated service to the figure skating community, the time has come for Mr. Edge to sail off into the sunset as I am now officially retired.
Reflecting on the incredible journey we’ve shared over nearly five decades; I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the relationships we’ve built and the memories we’ve created together. From the humble beginnings of this business to this momentous occasion, your trust and patronage have been the bedrock of its success. Your loyalty has sustained me through the years, and I am deeply humbled by the trust you’ve placed in me.
Retirement marks a significant milestone in my life’s journey. While it brings a mix of emotions, I am filled with excitement as I look forward to embarking on this new chapter. It’s a time for me to pursue personal endeavors, cherish precious moments with loved ones, and explore new passions.
My long-time employee Mark Quitter is planning to carry on sharpening services at the Carol Stream Ice Arena. Check back on this website near the end of May for further updates.
