STANKY FIELD
• Built in 1980 / Renovated in 2004 and 2011.
• Named after former Jaguar head coach Eddie Stanky, who coached at USA for 14 seasons.
• First game played on March 9, 1980, against Alabama. USA swept a doubleheader from the Crimson Tide that afternoon.
• The largest crowd in Stanky Field history came in a 21-16 win over Alabama on April 22, 2009, with 4,436 fans in attendance.
• Hosted the Sun Belt Conference Tournament 11 times.
• Stanky Field has a capacity of 3,775.
• Stanky Field dimensions: 330 to left field and right field, 375 to left-center and right-center and 400 to center field.
• The Stanky Field playing surface consists of Tifton grass and a clay infield.
• The Hunt Griffith Stadium Club, located at the top of the grandstand behind home plate beneath the press box, offers fans the opportunity to watch Jaguar baseball in air-conditioned comfort along with leather couches, chairs and televisions. It also features display cases containing memorabilia from former head coaches Eddie Stanky and Steve Kittrell.
• Stanky Field also features the Jon Lieber Clubhouse, Luis Gonzalez Indoor Hitting Facility as well as the Jaguar Baseball Ring of Honor which recognizes the proud history and tradition of South Alabama baseball.
