UC Davis Health Stadium

Football • Women's Lacrosse

UC Davis Health Stadium opened in 2007 as one of the three major facilities funded by the Facilities and Campus Enhancement, for F.A.C.E., Initiative of 1999.

The UC Davis women's lacrosse team was the first to compete on its Shaw Sports (formerly Sportexe) turf, defeating Saint Mary's on April 1, 2007. The football team began competing at UC Davis Health Stadium that fall, after more than a half century at Toomey Field.

The UC Davis field hockey team also played at UC Davis Health Stadium before moving to the Aggie Field Hockey Facility in 2014.

UC Davis Health Stadium was designed by industry leader Ellerbe Beckett, and built by local firm Brown Construction. It features fixed seating on each of the east and west sides, with grass berm seating – now known as the UC Davis Children's Hospital Family Zone – adjacent to each end zones.

Beneath the press box resides the Bruce Edwards Club Room, a popular venue for receptions, meetings and other gatherings.
