Buser Family Park

K-State will enter its eighth season at one of the top facilities in all of NCAA Division I soccer in 2023. Fans have streamed through the gates in the first seven seasons, as the Wildcats have ranked among the top-35 in the nation in average attendance in six of the first seven seasons.

Built on the site of K-State’s temporary facility from the first three seasons of the program, Buser Family Park broke ground during the 2018 season while exterior construction was completed in early August of 2019.

Buser Family Park provides just under 1,400 larger more comfortable bench seats for K-State’s dedicated fanbase.

At the top of the seating area, a permanent press level including a television booth, a radio booth, operations booth, media seating and one suite for fans was also constructed.

At the end of the 2019 season, Kansas State’s locker room, team lounge, visiting team locker room, K-State coaching staff offices, sports medicine and strength and conditioning were completed beneath the seating area when construction is completed.

The competition field, which was untouched during the construction, features one of the top playing surfaces in all of Division I soccer with a natural Bermuda grass surface and irrigation and drainage systems.

Buser Family Park witnessed an upgrade to the fan experience on game days in 2022, as K-State Athletics  installed a new high-definition video display measuring 41 feet by 23 feet on the east side of the playing surface as well as upgraded audio technology around the grounds.

K-State became comfortable with their home surroundings in the inaugural season in 2016, registering a 2-1-1 home record, including a three-match unbeaten streak to end its inaugural home schedule.

In its debut season in 2016, the K-State fan base filled the K-State Soccer Complex with an average of 2,265 fans a match which ranked fourth in the nation for average attendance. K-State also established a then NCAA Division I state of Kansas attendance record for a single match with 2,403 fans watching the inaugural home match against Northern Iowa on Sept. 16, 2016.

In the 2017 and 2018 seasons, K-State established a new high for home wins in a season with three victories. In 2018, K-State played a school record 10 home matches.

During the 2020 season, the Wildcats secured two wins against Big 12 opponents for the first time in program history. K-State downed Oklahoma, 3-0, on October 16, 2020, and capped the Big 12 schedule with a 2-0 win over Texas Tech on November 13, 2020. In terms of attendance, K-State ranked seventh in the nation in total attendance and 15th in the nation for average attendance.

Overall, K-State owns an 18-33-5 record at Buser Family Park.
