Pride Field

Pride Field is the home field for the Greensboro College football, lacrosse, and soccer teams. Football played it's first home game on campus March 6, 2021 after having called Pride Field it's home for the team's practices four years ago.

Nestled near the College's Main Building, Pride Field added a new scoreboard and field lights before the start of 2021 spring action. The new LED lights allow the Pride to practice and play when daylight is scarce.

Located on the south side of campus, the field was originally a softball venue before being converted for soccer and lacrosse in 1989.

Pride Field then served as a natural grass playing surface for the next 26 years before receiving a $1.1 million dollar renovation in 2015 when a state-of-the-art AstroTurf artificial surface was installed.

Sitting in the heart of the historic College Hill neighborhood Pride Field has a breathtaking view of the Greensboro skyline, and has hosted numerous Greensboro College and community events.

Pride Field is located on the backside of Greensboro College’s campus, and is easily accessible where McGee Street and Fulton Street Meet. Spectator parking can be found at corner of McGee Street and College Place in the West Dormitory Parking Lot.
